NRHS Announces Regional Community Health Needs Survey

Norman Regional Health System announces a plan to conduct a community health needs survey for the regional communities it serves. The survey is the first step in a comprehensive assessment of the health needs of the individuals living in the Health System’s service area. The results of the survey and the overall assessment will provide guidance to address identified health care needs and in the development of wellness and prevention programs.

Information will be gathered using both a paper and web-based survey, designed to measure community members’ perceptions of their health practices, overall health and access to health care. Both the web-based and paper survey will be available beginning April 1, 2014 online at In appreciation of completing the survey, participants have the option to enter a drawing for a free iPad Air.

“Conducting this assessment reflects Norman Regional’s long-standing commitment to identify the most urgent health needs and better target resources that improve the health of the communities we serve,” said Paula Price, Director of Health Promotion and Community. “By taking ten minutes to complete this anonymous survey, community members have an opportunity to state which health needs have the most impact on their quality of life.”
