Now Accepting Applications for The CDBG Advisory Committee

The CDBG Advisory Committee oversees the City’s annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The CDBG program focuses on benefitting low to moderate-income residents in Moore through community development programs and projects. Each year, the committee provides input on what services and projects are funded with this grant. Some of these services and projects that have been funded in the past include home-delivered meals for seniors, rental/utility assistance, an expansion to the senior center, and the renovation of Kiwanis Park.

The City is looking to add Moore residents to the committee; specifically, those who may have benefitted from any of our local social services agencies. Selection preference will be given to applicants who meet the household threshold of low-to-moderate income. Meetings are typically held three times a year in May, June, and November at 5:30 pm at Moore City Hall. Completed applications must be submitted to the City Clerk, Vanessa Kemp, by November 6th, 2020. For more information, please contact Kahley Gilbert, Project-Grants Manager at 405-793-4571 or [email protected].
