Moore to lift current Emergency Proclamation; will follow State’s guidelines:
The City of Moore’s Emergency Proclamation 04-23(a) will be rescinded Friday, April 24th, 2020 at 11:59 PM.
As of Saturday, April 25th, 2020, the City of Moore will be under the State of Oklahoma’s Executive Order https://www.sos.ok.gov/documents/executive/1937.pdf , including:
- “Safer at Home” guidelines; asking the vulnerable population to stay at home except for essential work and/or errands
- A three-phased approach to opening up the Oklahoma economy “Open Up and Recover Safely Plan” https://www.okcommerce.gov/wp-content/uploads/Open-Up-and-Recover-Safely-Plan.pdf
- Industry-specific protocols within the “Open Up and Recover Safely Plan” https://www.okcommerce.gov/covid19/
Most city buildings, including City Hall, will re-open to the public beginning Monday, April 27th. The Station will re-open beginning Friday, May 1st per Phase I of the state’s “Open Up and Recover Safely Plan”. The Brand Senior Center reopening date is to be determined.
