The City of Moore has replaced two diesel trucks from its Public Works fleet with the assistance of an Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) Clean Air Grant for Public Sector Fleets. A new high compaction 32 cubic-yard side loader with compressed natural gas conversion system, commonly known as a residential refuse collector, was added to the Public Works fleet in September 2018. Additionally, a grapple truck with a completed compressed natural gas conversion, commonly known as a terminator, was added to the fleet in the same month. The terminator is used to pick up big trash. The City of Moore would like to thank the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments for the Clean Air grant funding for our Public Works fleets.
