Community Development Block Grant – Services Funding

Overview

The City of Moore invites non-profit organizations to submit proposals for projects to be funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, with a primary focus on physical and social development activities. A restricted portion of the grant funds can be expended for public services activities, subject to careful review to ensure compliance with required expenditure limitations.  Anticipated CDBG funds, to be awarded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), will be available for the 2026-2027 Program Year starting October 1, 2026.

CDBG funding can be used for a variety of public service projects and activities that benefit the low-moderate income and disadvantaged residents in our community, including, but not limited to:

  • Emergency repairs for homeowners
  • Counseling services
  • After-school Programs
  • Food pantry
  • Senior services
  • Utility/rental assistance

The application will be available starting March 2, 2026. Paper copies of the CDBG application will not be accepted, you must submit your application online.
