The City of Moore has numerous boards and commissions which provide authority, oversight, and review to many of the City's functions. These boards generally consist of three to nine members, which are citizens of the City, elected officials, and/or city employees. Official meeting times, locations, and agendas for all board meetings are posted on the bulletin board at City Hall. Except in cases of emergency meetings, these notices are posted at least 2 days prior to the meeting. All board meetings are open to the public. State law provides that certain sensitive items, such as personnel matters and pending litigation, may be discussed in private "executive sessions". Any executive sessions are noted on the meeting agenda. No action other than discussion may be taken during an executive session.
