    The City of Moore and the OK Wildlife Department will co-host this event; Rain or Shine
    Check-In:  7:30am

    Pre-registration for Fishing Derby! 

    The OK Wildlife Department will be on site for safety, knot tying, fish ID, fish cleaning and ethics training.

    Bring your own pole and bait (crawlers, stink bait, shrimp, liver etc.)

    4 fish limit per family.  No culling.  You catch it, you keep it!

    For kids ages 5-15; MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

    Both ponds are stocked with catchable sized catfish.

    NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. Together, we are making that happen.

    NNO enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

    Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.

    Start organizing your neighborhood now. Neighborhood camaraderie sends a message to criminals letting them know you are organized and fighting back. We're working our program now and will provide details in the near future.

  • The application process begins with a physical agility test, scheduled for Saturday, July 30th at 9:00 AM at Southmoore High School, 2901 S. Santa Fe in Moore.  You do not need to sign up in advance, but you do need to be aware of the prerequisites and disqualifiers in order to determine your eligibility for this position.   
    Benefits include:
    Starting Salary: $44,549 and increases to $54,390 upon completion of 12 month probationary period, plus an additional $26,000 worth of benefits in the first year
    Additional pay incentives for college degrees, CLEET certification levels, and bilingual proficiency.
    Excellent insurance program, paid vacations, and much more.
    Officers wishing to continue their education may be eligible for college tuition reimbursement.
    Officers who reside in the city limits are eligible for a take-home patrol car that may be driven while off duty.

  • Curbside Recycling Survey Results Are In

    This Spring the City of Moore mailed a survey to all utility customers to get citizen’s input about curbside recycling. The results of the survey have been tabulated. The Moore City Council is considering what future steps to take. Click on the link below to view the results.
