Saturday, November 18th  the City of Moore will hold recycling opportunities at the Moore Recycle Center located at 220 N. Telephone Rd.

When: Saturday, November 18th
Time: Normal Drive-Thru Hours 8am - 3pm
Paper Shredding: 8am - Noon
Electronics: 8am - Noon
Glass: 8am - Noon
Items accepted daily include: plastics 1-7, aluminum, tin, cardboard, mixed fiber (newspaper, food boxes, etc)

Tuesday, October 31, 2017 - 6:00pm

The Moore City Council has approved the observance of Tuesday, October 31st as Halloween Trick or Treat night. Times are up to the individuals who participate.
 


 

Saturday, October 28, 2017 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm

When:  Saturday, October 28th
Where:  Old Town Moore Downtown
Time:  4:00pm – 7:00pm
Fee:  No Charge
Bring your whole family for this trick or treating event.  Inflatables, Games, Music, Food Trucks, Moore Public Library - arts and crafts and lots of candy. 
This event will happen RAIN OR SHINE.

Ages:  Must be 12 or accompanied by an adult
Fee:  $7.50 per person
Tickets:  Must purchase tickets at The Station Recreation Center (700 S. Broadway Ave.)

Voodoo In The Bayou

According to legend in the early 19th century, Voodoo Queen Bianca Lavreau would practice her underground religion in the wooded area known today as Little River Park.  As word got out about her practices, a mob formed to force her out of the area. She mysteriously disappeared! Today, people still say they see her roam Little River Park on a full moon.  Come be a part of the award winning Trail Of Fears: Voodoo In The Bayou. The Trail is a 1/3 of a mile, guaranteed to scare you with the Tomb Of Voodoo Queen Bianca Lavreau, Zombie Forest and Voodoo Lagoon.  Purchase tickets early because a limited number of tickets are available.

Fee: $10 per person, $15 the day of the dance per person

This year’s Red Ribbon Parade will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. Staging begins at 8:30 A.M. on 5th STREET BETWEEN I-35 AND BROADWAY. THE PARADE ROUTE WILL FOLLOW BROADWAY TO THE STATION AT CENTRAL PARK PARKING LOT.  

Saturday, October 21, 2017 - 11:00am to 2:00pm

Beans, Cornbread, Cole Slaw, Dessert & Drinks all for only $5.00 for Adults and $2.50 for Children (under 12).
Quilt Raffle:  $1.00 per ticket or 6 for $5.00

Proceeds from the ticket sales to benefit the Moore Council on Aging and Brand Senior Center.
