Crews have completed much of the walking trail at Fairmoore Park.  The Rocket Ship playground is almost complete and the construction of the splash pad will start here in the coming days.  There will be 2 pavilions for the public to rent and bathrooms available for public use.  The horseshoe pits are near completion.  The new Fairmoore Park will include a walking trail, new horseshoe courts, playground, splash pad, picnic shelters, a water feature, restroom, and associated parking and park entry and access road. Estimated completion date is mid-2017.

Little River Park pirate ship playground has been installed.  The pirate ship splash pad is complete.   The three pavilions funded with the Devon Energy donation are almost complete as well. It is planned to open the playground and splash pad in mid-2017. This project is funded with monies provided by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). These funds were given to the City of Moore following the May 20, 2013 tornado.

Buck Thomas Park: OG+E is installing over 60 trail lights for the parking lot and road leading to the Happy Tails Dog Park and the football complex. These lights will be installed along the road, around the parking lot, and along the new one-mile trail on the east side of Buck Thomas Park. This project is estimated to be complete in early 2017.
