What is Adopt-a-Park?
Our program that allows individuals, businesses, or groups to take a proactive role in the beautification of local parks.

Crews have completed the renovations of Fairmoore Park. A rocket ship playground and splash pad were installed as a part of the park renovations as were 2 pavilions that are available for the public to rent. Also included in the park renovations were a walking trail, restroom, eight (8) horseshoe courts, a water feature, trail lights, park monument sign, associated parking, and a park entry and access road. The project was funded with the 2012, voter-approved, ¼ cent park sales tax. Total cost was about $1.8 million.

The Little River Park large pirate ship playground and splash pad, associated walking trails and fence, were completed this last Summer. Three (3) pavilions funded with a donation from Devon Energy were completed this Summer as well. Also completed was a restroom (funded by a donation from the Cardinal Cares Foundation). With the exception of the three picnic pavilions and restroom, this project was funded with monies provided by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). These funds were given to the City of Moore following the May 20, 2013 tornado.
