Cleveland County Commissioners Issue Burn Ban for Cleveland County - Burn Ban Has Been Extended

Cleveland County Commissioners have issued a burn ban for Cleveland County that proclaims an extreme fire danger exists in Cleveland County.  This resolution shall be effectively immediately for a period not to exceed fourteen (14) days from the date of passage by the County Commissioners 3/16/2017 through 3/29/2017.

It is unlawful for any person to set fire to any forest, grass, range, crop or there wildlands, or to build a campfire or bonfire, or to burn trash or other material that may cause a forest, grass, range, crop or other wildlands fire.
