Todd Jenson is Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Moore. Todd has worked for the City for over 7 years. He began work for the City as the Economic Development Specialist in the Economic Development Department. Prior to working for the City, Todd had his own business for 7 years. Todd sold his business in 2006. From 1989 to 1999 worked in the Mayor and City Manager’s Office in Norman, Oklahoma as Assistant to the City Manager. Todd in his spare time also teaches US History, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College in Moore.As Parks & Recreation Director, Todd manages the Moore Community Center and the Moore Senior Center. Todd also oversees ten parks as well as the indoor and outdoor recreation programs run by the department. Also as a part of his duties, Todd manages the long-term planning for the development of new parks and improvements to existing parks. Todd graduated from Moore High School in 1984. Todd has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. Todd received a Masters Degree in Public Administration in 1992 from the University of Oklahoma.Todd enjoys reading, playing golf, and traveling with his family. Todd is married and has two children, Brittany, 19 and Christopher, 15. Todd and his family attend One Church in Moore.
