Haunt Old Town

Saturday, October 31, 2015 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Haunt Old Town is a night of free family activities in Old Town Moore, for safe trick or treating and Halloween Fun. The streets will be shut down in the Old Town area for parents and kids walking in the Old Town area.   Some of the activities will be:  Clowns; Face Painting; Candy; Inflatable's ; Extreme Animals; Music; Pumpkin Decorating;  and safe trick or treating in the streets!  Bring your whole family down to Old Town Moore.

Moore War Run

Saturday, August 29, 2015 - 7:00am

The annual Moore War 5K Run will be held Saturday, August 29. Registration will be held at the Moore High School parking lot beginning at 6:00 a.m.  

The run will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main and Eastern. 

Parts of Eastern Ave., 19th St. and Broadway Ave. will be closed for the safety of the participants during this event. 

Mummy and Son Dance

Friday, October 30, 2015 - 6:00pm to 9:30pm

We will have 2 dances this year.  Dancing; Haunted Room; Snacks and lots of fun!   Come to the Moore Community Center and costumes are optional. 

Ghost Dance: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Ghoul Dance: 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Cost: $5 per person / Tickets Must Be Pre-Purchased at www.cityofmoore.com/fun or at the Moore Community Center

Little River Park presents Nightmare on 4th Street

Saturday, October 24, 2015 - 8:00pm to 11:00pm

Nightmare on 4th Street – Volunteers Needed:  

If you are energetic and looking for some fun, then bring your best scare tactics to our Haunted Trail.  You must be at least 18 years of age.  Call 793-5090 and ask for Chris for more information.

Nightmare on 4th Street is Moore’s outdoor haunted attraction.  When the night falls, these woods turn into a 1/3 of a mile winding haunted trail with creatures lurking around every corner. 

This event is designed for adults and children ages 12 and older.  Children 11 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

The market runs Thursday evenings from 4:00pm - 7:30pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00am - Noon at the Moore Community Center, 301 S Howard Ave. 

Old Town Moore Big Wheel Nationals

Join the Old Town Moore Association, Moore Parks and Recreation and area businesses for the Old Town Moore Big Wheel Nationals!  The Old Town Association is looking for businesses in Moore to sponsor and decorate a Big Wheel so area children can race them on September 19th.  

Moore Pride Red Ribbon Parade

Saturday, October 31, 2015 - 10:00am

This year’s Red Ribbon Parade will be held on Saturday, October 31st, 2015, at 10:00 A.M. Staging begins at 8:30 A.M. on 5th STREET BETWEEN I-35 AND BROADWAY. THE PARADE ROUTE WILL FOLLOW BROADWAY TO MAIN STREET, AND THEN MAIN STREET TO THE MOORE HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT.  

Senior Center Bean Dinner Fundraiser

Saturday, October 17, 2015 - 11:00am to 2:00pm

Beans, Cornbread, Cole Slaw, Dessert & Drinks all for only $4.00 for Adults and $2.00 for Children (under 12).

Proceeds from the ticket sales to benefit the Moore Council on Aging and Brand Senior Center.
