Earth Day Recycling Event

Saturday, April 18, 2015 - 8:00am to 4:00pm

The first Earth Day was held in April 1970. Over 40 years later, this little holiday gets some big attention, and its mission still holds true to encourage action for a healthy environment! Help the City of Moore celebrate Earth Day by taking advantage of some great recycling opportunities. 

On April 18, 2015 the City of Moore will hold recycling opportunities at the Moore Recycle Center located at 400 N. Telephone Rd. 

Citizens will be able to drive thru and drop off items.
•Paper Shredding 8am-Noon
•Tires 8am-Noon
•Electronics 8am-Noon

Movie In the Park

Old Town Farmer's Market - Starting Thursday May 21st

The market runs Thursday evenings from 4:00pm - 7:30pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00am - Noon at the Moore Community Center, 301 S Howard Ave. South parking lot. 

Storytime at Parmele Park

When: Every Monday in the month of June

Age:  All Ages welcomed

The City of Moore and the Moore Public Library put on a story time for the kids at Moore's newest and most popular park, Parmele Park - 1308 N. Janeway Ave.; A great time to hear great stories and have fun!
