The latest sale tax number are in and Moore saw an increase of 9.59% over the same period from FY 10-11.  In addition to our 3% regular sales tax, the city collects an additional half cent that totaled $328,670.98. The half cent is designated for residential street improvements(80%) and public safety(20%).  This fiscal year the half cent collection has reached a total of $2,377,433.35 with 80% being used to fix streets in our neighborhoods around Moore.
