The Moore Police Department provides law enforcement services to residents and visitors to the City of Moore in an effort to create a safe community by protecting life, preserving liberty and keeping the peace. The 79 commissioned  officers and 5 civilian employees of the Department are committed to this mission and maintain utmost vigilance and professionalism in the protection of the City. 

The department moved into the new Public Safety Center at the corner of Main St.  & Broadway Ave.  (117 East Main St.) in Aptil of 2014.

911 Center

The City of Moore’s Police & Fire Communications Center is a state of the art telecommunications facility that is staffed 24 hours per day 7 days per week.  We have 11 dispatch positions when fully staffed.

We moved into the current building on the corner of 117 E. Main in April 2014.  The Communications Center consists of a 1,050 square foot operations area that includes four dispatch stations along with a classroom style training room and administrative offices.   Read More » about 911 Center

Community Relations

The Moore Police Department’s Community Relations Officer serves as a liaison between the community and the Moore Police Department. The Community Relations Officer is responsible for implementing community programs, personal safety and neighborhood protection. The Moore Police Departments Community Relations Officer is Jeremy Lewis.

Crime Reports

CrimeReports works with the Moore Police Department to help reduce, prevent and solve crime by enabling officials to easily open and manage a controlled dialog with citizens. You will find an online family of crime fighting tools including a public crime map, alert messaging, anonymous tipping and data analytics.

Crime Stoppers of Moore

Crime Stoppers of Moore, Inc. is a non-profit organization led by citizens against crime. The program offers cash rewards of up to $1000 to persons providing information that leads to the felony arrest of criminals and fugitives. Callers can remain anonymous.

Moore Police Now Hiring

Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - 5:00pm

The Moore Police Department is looking for individuals interested in law enforcement careers. 

The Department will host physical and written testing on April 16th 2014 at 5:00 PM at the Moore High School football field house (east end of football stadium, which is just east of the intersection at Main & Eastern). Candidates are asked to bring a photo ID and $15 (fee for written exam),  It is not necessary to call or register ahead of time - all you need to do is be at the high school on that date at that time.
