Moore Police Department
Communications

   

The City's Emergency Management and Communications Department provides communications services for the Police Department. This includes the answering of incoming telephone calls - both emergency and routine - along with the radio dispatching of Police units. This is accomplished from a Communications Center located in City Hall.

Every police car is equipped with a Motorola VHF two-way radio, which keeps each Officer in immediate contact with the Comm Center and other Officers. Every Officer is also issued a portable radio ("walkie-talkie").
