The Emergency Management & Communications Department provides two primary services to those in the City of Moore. First, our Communications Division provides 9-1-1 emergency services, an around-the-clock communications link between those who need help and the City's police, fire, and medical professionals. We estimate that our Emergency Telecommunications Specialists process more than 300,000 telephone calls annually, and dispatch more than 50,000 police/fire/medical calls for service.
Our Emergency Management Division works to mitigate, plan and prepare for, respond to, and recover from the various emergencies and disasters that affect our City.
