Moore residents can sign up to receive updates on topics of interest such as news releases, neighborhood news, recreation programs, Police and Fire updates and other timely information.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection

To encourage proper disposal of hazardous household waste, the City of Moore has contracted with Oklahoma City to use their state-of-the art facility.

  • Under 7.5 gallons: 1 free monthly pass per household; more than once per month: $39.50
  • Between 7.5 – 15 gallons: $79
  • Between 15 – 22.5 gallons: $118.50
  • Over 22.5 gallons: $158.00

City Budget & Audit

By law, each city in Oklahoma is required to formulate and approve a balanced budget by its governing body. The City of Moore Budget is included below. The fiscal year begins July 1st and ends June 30th.  For quicker download time the budgets are divided into separate parts.

The City of Moore undergoes an annual audit to examine city expenses and revenue and review financial policies.

Residential Big Trash Pick Up Made Easier

  • Just call to schedule a pick up twice per calendar year 793-5070
  • Service is free to City of Moore residential utility customers
  • Voucher is available for one free drop off to the city landfill per calendar year (pick up at customer service at City Hall)
