  • Traffic Impact Study for 19th Street

    Traffic Engineering Consultants, Inc. (TEC) was asked by the City of Moore to update a traffic study completed in 2008. Major development has and is occurring in an area both north and south of SW 19th Street. The recent tornado, while destructive, afforded the opportunity for additional redevelopment. The update to the 2008 study includes an expanded study area and a more detailed analysis of the traffic impacts of additional development to the roadway system.   • Odd-Even Watering Measure in Effect

    Moore is joining Oklahoma City and has implemented Progressive Water Conservation Stages. Mandatory odd/even watering (Stage 1) is now permanently in effect.   • Moore Police Now Hiring

    Wednesday, September 10, 2014 - 5:00pm

    The Moore Police Department will be holding a written and physical test for the position of police officer on September 10 at 5:00 PM.  Go to the Moore High School field house located at 300 N Eastern (on the east side of the football stadium). Bring a photo ID and $15 for the written test. The physical test will be first and consist of 1 1/2 mile run in 15 min 20 sec. 300 meter sprint in  68 seconds, 15 pushups and 26 sit ups.   • CDBG Commitee Meeting

    Wednesday, September 3, 2014 - 5:30pm

    The City of Moore has received an additional funding of $25.9 million for the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  CDBG-DR funds support a broad range of community projects to address unmet long term recovery needs in the 2013 disaster area.  The City of Moore is seeking citizen input for eligible activities for these funds.   • Warrant Amnesty Program to be held in August

    The City of Moore Municipal Court will be offering an Amnesty Program for certain outstanding court debts during the month of August 2014. 

    The Amnesty Program will be for any active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear issued during 2012 and prior years. The Failure to Pay Fines or Costs is excluded.

    All fines and fees have to be paid in full. Forms of payment accepted are cash, money order, Visa, MasterCard or Discover. No personal checks or bondsman will be accepted. Read More » about Warrant Amnesty Program to be held in August
