Preheat your ovens because the Cleveland County Healthy Living Fair is quickly approaching and set for February 11, 2012.
Each year 4-H members from all over the county including those from Moore, Lexington, Little Axe, Noble, and Norman meet at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Norman to show off their cooking, baking, and table decorating skills.
The event begins 9:30 am; however, judging does not begin until 10:15am.
4-H uses the Healthy Living Fair, as well as other events, to teach 4-H members life skills such as responsibility, respect, teamwork, communication, and in this case, how to cook. By creating an atmosphere of friendly competition members learn while having fun.
If you have any questions about this event or 4-H please contact the Cleveland County Extension Office at (405) 321-4774.
